Nepal Earthquake 2015: My Sister’s Experience

Some of you may know already that before I enrolled in Liberty University, I went through a program called CollegePlus that allowed me to get a huge jump-start on my bachelor’s degree. Through the forums, I met a girl named Sophia Shrestha, who has her own blog at himaliwords.wordpress.com. I started following it, and I have greatly enjoyed reading her posts.

Sophia lives in the country of Nepal. As some of you may remember, Nepal was recently struck by an earthquake – which Sophia and her family experienced. Her sister Upasana wrote this inspiring and convicting post about that earthquake, and with her and Sophia’s permission, I am reposting it on my own blog.

By the way, if you would like to read the inspiring backstory of Sharan Dai, the young man mentioned in her post, you can read it here.

  1. Alisa, your friend wrote beautifully and I was so very touched by her words. I often wonder too, if I am always ready to meet my Lord and King. There is much to contemplate.
